fabric giveaway.

A little giveaway as a "thank-you" for stopping by my little corner of the web. I feel so lucky to be part of this online crafting community that brings me so much joy, so thanks! In participation with Sew Mama Sew's Giveaway Day I am offering TWO lucky readers a fat quarter of EACH of these Girl Friday prints by Cosmo Cricket. This fabric would be perfect for a multitude of sewing and craft projects. Winners will be chosen by May 21.

I love that fabric so much! I am a big math nerd, so I would probably embroider some graphs of my favorite equations on the grid one and make it into a quilt.

Oh wow, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this fabric & really, the possibilities are endless, but they do seem to be telling me, in no uncertain terms; embroidery.

The grid pattern - well, that quite obviously needs to have a robot sewn in to it & the lined "paper"; a framed piece in my daughters room listing all of her favourite things (necessities you know, like mandarines, gumboots & big trucks...).

I love this fabric! I have never seen it before. I think I would use it to make a zippered travel case for sewing notions, and maybe use some leftover in a quilt squares for a baby quilt - adding some cursive words on the lines with a fabric marker.

That fabric would make some sweet little wall hangings - imagine the little embroidered words on those dotted lines. I've never actually done that before, but I'm sure I could learn! :)

Oooh those are pretty. I've been busy making baby bonnets (http://tawnykw.blogspot.com/2010/05/how-to-laneys-emergency-summer-hat.html) and they only take a fat quarter to make, so this fabric would be perfect! :)
