fabric giveaway.

A little giveaway as a "thank-you" for stopping by my little corner of the web. I feel so lucky to be part of this online crafting community that brings me so much joy, so thanks! In participation with Sew Mama Sew's Giveaway Day I am offering TWO lucky readers a fat quarter of EACH of these Girl Friday prints by Cosmo Cricket. This fabric would be perfect for a multitude of sewing and craft projects. Winners will be chosen by May 21.

Those are fabulous fabrics! I think the graph paper looking fabric would look good in a quilt but mostly as binding. The paper fabric would be very cool with embroidered letters and words on it and also using it that way for a quilt label. Of course there are tons more things that would be great like hexagons, book covers... oh the possibilities!

As an English teacher, I would use the handwriting paper one to copy a quote about reading or writing and make it into a friendly pillow for my reading nook in my classroom. I'd use the other one for my brother, the math teacher, and make him a tie with a graph of some sort on it. Maybe one of those perabolas that I never understood from pre-cal. Both would be well used and loved.

Oh, I have not seen this before. Awesome! With the graph paper, I would make a tie for my very nerdy husband. I'd even be tempted to do a little embroidery or applique on it. Maybe that's not right, but he is a nerd after all.

And the lines? Definitely part of notebook covers I'll be making for my 6yo who is starting homeschooling in the fall.

I've been doing some embroidery on cotton fabric.. mostly quotes that mean something to me... I think I'd do "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are" on this fabric. Seems right for it.

I can see little wall hangings with embroidery in my schoolroom. I think it would be great for a wall hanging about grammar/punctuation.
