I am a hex addict.

I cannot deny it any longer and I think it's high time I own up to it. It all started by sneaking around late at night on the internet looking at hex photos. After a while, it wasn't doing much for me anymore . I needed the real thing. What's a girl to do? I checked out Christina's tutorial , via Ashley's post , I cut a bunch of strips of fabric and downloaded some of these. One thing led to another and I had a flower.... 0r 30...

I keep asking myself why I didn't choose a larger hexagon but there is no turning back now. I am in love... at least it feels like love. I stack them up and spread them out just to look at them. I count and recount them just as a 5 year-old would dollar bills at a lemonade stand. Yes, my friends.....I am an addict.

  6. I think the hex addiction has hit the quilt world with a vengeance....it's like our version of crack! We will all end up in a room together sharing stories of our hex making days and all the dirty dishes, laundry and house work that never got done because we are too busy making more!!

Can't wait to see them all put together!

They look great, but I'm not going to look at them too long. I may succumb.

  12. It's an addiction you can go public with and then get messages of encouragement from people like me; because, they're very cool looking.

  15. Oooh, these are lovely!
They immediately made me think of the hex flower quilt my MIL's grandmother made her. We use it on my daughter's bed. You can see it here,
