little school quilt.

I'm back with another quilt. I just love this style quilt so much, it's a great way to showcase your favorite prints and colors in ways that don't distract. This is a pretty durable design too...

I used some Japanese fabric by Kokka, simply dreamy....

The "orange" which is actually terra cotta didn't photograph so well. Trust me, it is not that bright! Hmm...maybe you should adjust your monitor.

Possibly my favorite Kona color ever, Robert Kaufman in olive. yum.

Take care! Sew something!

I love it. I agree...sometimes I just want to make squares and let the fabric be the focus. And the orange looks just fine to me! :)

Love this fabric and design. Since I am hoping to start sewing this Fall and quilts are what I am most interested in - did you get this from a book or is there a book you love the most for quilting? I somehow missed your last giveaway - doh! Cool!

I love the colors you picked out! This really makes me want to try making my first quilt. The question is, could pick out the right fabrics like you did? I'm scared!
