Another herringbone quilt...this one is backed in a lovely vintage, screen-printed, floral cotton fabric. I adore the contrast in the preppy little sweetheart.
Hope this December finds you all well!

beautiful! I am so glad you posted this. I actually just bought fabric today to copy your first herringbone quilt (different colors, just same design) for a charity quilt. I vowed to never quilt zigzags again, but I was going to do it anyway since it was for a good cause. I am thrilled to see that you quilted the squares and it looks great! Now I don't have to quilt zigzags again. Phew!
Very nice - I love your two -colour quilt. A red and white quilt is on my to-do one day list and I think I may 'borrow' your idea ;)
Oh wow, Erica, this is gorgeous! You continue to inspire me!
beautiful, simply beautiful! :)
I love your quilts. Every single one!
Beautiful! And the pairing of the herringbone pattern and the print if delightful.
Stunning in its simplicity and color - as usual :)
Love it! Your work is inspiring...
so pretty. I drool every time I see a post from you. :)
This is lovely! I love it and I've pinned it to my "Quilty Goodness" board on Pinterest (with proper credit, of course!). Feel free to follow me if you'd like: http://pinterest.com/lipglass/quilty-goodness/

Hi! I absolutely love your blog and all of your quilts! I am in the middle of my first full sized quilt inspired by your herringbone quilts :) I was wondering, what kind of batting do you use? I'm not sure what to use yet!
I have pinned this a while ago in hopes of "recreating" it for a baby...now I have the chance! I'm going to change the colors in honor of his Irish heritage. (If you don't mind me borrowing your idea...) What size is each HST?
