Hi there. New visitor at your place. Love love LOVE that quilt. Suddenly I want to stop my currant project (which I don't really feel that click for - it is apresent with colors and patterns that I wouldn't choose for myself...) and throw myself into a project like yours. That is the type of quilt that I would die for. Fantastic. It is okay to cry when parting from this one. BIg cry recommended as a part of the grieving process... Buuhhu hu. Love it!
LOVELY YOUR BLOG!!! Me encantan tus colchas, y toodas tus creaciones. Me gustaria atreverme a hacer una. El Día que lo haga te la enseñare. Besos y Feliz Navidad. Núria.
I love it too!!!! It's perfect! I have a simple charm quilt top laying around that needs quilting, I think I'm going to have to get it finished up as soon as because of yours (love the label too - so cute!)
ps - happy birthday (belated - sorry!) your new love seat is too cute, I want to go shopping tomorrow and find one like it and cover it in one of AMH's velveteens (notice I am totally being a copycat of you right now. Ha! I'm a crazy STALKER LADY!)
It's beautiful! I love the warm, cozy feel those colors have. That fabric for the binding is pretty awesome too. I can empathize with how hard it was to give this up - it really is fabulous.
it looks so squishy and cozy! every single fabric is awesome and they all work so perfectly together. I would definitely have some separation anxiety with this one.
This is such a cute quilt, and it looks like it will comes together quickly. I have a bunch of charms that I've been collecting over the years, so I might give it a try. I like the quilt stitching, too. Simple, but effective.
I just recently found your blog (via pinterest) and have come back to this post multiple times because this quilt is so beautiful-- I want to make something just like it for a camping/picnic blanket- the colors are just perfect. Are the fabrics all stuff you had on hand or did they come as a set? I'll admit- I want to be a copycat. ;) My husband is deployed and a project like this is just what I need to stay busy and pass the time!
any chance you could make another one of these and sell it to me? if so, email me at justinewheatley@gmail.com - i don't have a blogspot, but i found your quilt on pinterest and want it. BAD!
Just spotted this courtesy of Pinterest. (and of course - I love it!) Did you machine stitch those squares for the 'quilting'? How does one do that w/o bunching it all up? Can you share? Thanks much!
