pink penguin love.

It is no secret that Ayumi of Pink Penguin is talented, brilliant, creative and fun. I love making the patchwork fabric basket from her tutorial section on her blog. This one was made out of vintage feedsack fabric and linen. I made it just to hold my lil' collection of clothespins.
...a perfect fit!
I'm going to add generous to that list of Ayumi's qualities... check out what I found in my mailbox last week!

a great little stash of vintage fabric and quirky Japanese bits! I love it :) Thanks so much Ayumi, you made my week.

Have you all gotten your hands on the latest issue of Stitch Magazine? Ayumi's in it (aaaannd so are a couple of pieces of my vintage fabric stash that I sent her.) I am going to get my copy tonight, I'll savor each page...

thanks for stopping!

Cute little basket! I love making those baskets too. They seem to be just the right size for so many things. Cute fabrics too. I don't own one single piece of Japanese fabrics, so it's fun to see your stack of treasures.

Very cool fabric for an adorable (and useful) project. I'll have to go magazine shopping this week-end.
