pink zig-zag quilt.

I love making zig-zag quilts. The simple design allows you to use as many or few prints as you like and get a really great result. This is yet another 'springy' color choice for me. I have really been digging pastel colors lately. I think that might have something to do with the holiday colored M&M's I can't stop thinking about... they're everywhere! They're even sold in stores that shouldn't sell food items. What is that all about?

OK, back to the quilt. I loved making this quilt, however, it tried my patience a bit. I don't think there is a quilting design that requires you to pay your full attention at all times...every 4 seconds it was needle down. presser foot up. turn. presser foot down. sew. stop. needle down. presser foot up. turn. presser foot down. sew. stop. Accck. I think you get the idea and if you've quilted in this design you know exactly what I'm talking about!

Springy blooms and sweet little bunnies.

Even with all my complaining I've managed to put together 3 more zig-zag quilts. Yet another instance of my self proclaimed problem. I'll share them as soon as I have them photographed and then they're going straight to the shop because I can't have several similar items in my house anymore. Seriously, have you watched A&E lately? End of story.

Erica, that quilt is to die for! I love all the pinks and that little bunny fabric is the cutest! Wow, all I can say is you have a ton of patience...I'd have sewn two or three rows and then thrown it into a UFO pile! :o)

XOXO,

Cyndi

This quilt is so gorgeous! I love the reds you used in the zig-zag surrounded by PINK! Reminds me of a handful of jelly beans or a candy dish. This quilt would look so great in my room :-)

Adorable! I had just put a zig-zag like this on my short list. But I don't think I'll make three :)

I just love the pink you used..so soft and sweet, and comboing it with the reds is simply beautiful. I hear ya on the quilting though (I thought I was going to die before getting through the quilting of my HST quilt.....more stopping and turning than anyone person should do)! But the result is worth the hassle. Can't wait to see the other zigzags. OH....and the bunny fabric....tooo cute!!

Hoarders makes me want to clean in a way that nothing else does!

Love this quilt. It is so sweet and the red looks perfect with the pastel pink. I might have to borrow this design for a baby quilt I need to make soon.

I'm about to embark on quilting a zig zag quilt myself and am starting to dread the process.
