I wasn't sure which color sashing to use but I finally settled on grey. I'm glad I did; It just makes the other colors seem so much brighter. This is a small quilt made with the intention of going in my shop although I don't know if I can part with it. All these candy colors make me want to gift it to the first little girl I see on the street!
I finally hung a picture hanging wire on my sun porch so I can take some proper photos for my quilts. I have been going back and forth on how to hang my quilts for a loooong time. I finally spent the $2 and bought the wire, I am really happy I did! Having hardwood floors throughout the entire house is great and I wouldn't change it, but the dust bunnies accumulate in a matter of hours in the winter time. Frankly,I was getting sick of vacuuming every time I want to take a photograph! This certainly remedies that situation. Do you hang your quilts? what do you use?
wait...did you say 'shop' ???
nice quilt. love the green!
I love, love, love it!! The grey binding is so striking!
Oooo, I haven't seen the olive Kona up close before, must get some! I love this quilt, the colors just pop!
Love the gray sashing! Pretty quilt!
That's a darling little quilt! And thanks for the picture wire idea. I should do the same - it would sure beat waiting until my husband is home to hold up a quilt for me. :-)
Absolutely love this! Don't blame you for the Kona Olive love hehe
this is amazing i really love it...and the solids, gray and that olive are amazing.
Love it! I love pinwheel blocks, and I love the gray sashing you used.
BTW, great way to hang your quilt for photographing! I am forever trying to find a place to take pictures of quilt projects, especially in winter.
I love those happy pinwheels!
And sometimes I think I would never sweep if I didn't need to baste or photograph some fabric-y item!
That is beautiful and the grey was such a great choice because it does make the other colors pop. Love it and I wish I had the patience to do something so awesome.
It's really cute. Love the gray. I'm a bit infatuated with gray these days.
