an echino airplane quilt.

I am loving the oddball colors in this quilt right now! Really, some of them just shouldn't be put together, but they work I tell ya. I cut up some Echino cheater cloth and added a variety of linen and linen blend solids to border and highlight each print.

I quilted it diagonally using cream and raspberry colored thread.

Backed in a super soft grey kona with charcoal binding...
Oh how I love this quilt. :)

Personally, I love all the wonky colors you put together. I'm into gray and love how it all looks.

Hello Missy! The weirder the better with crazy fabric combo's I think! That backing stitching design?? is stellar! Love the grey backings. Who doesn't like grey??? :)Your starting to make me want to "get to it" on all the quilts I've started. I am working on a crazy one that needs to be finished! You sure are inspiring me:)
