red cross baby quilt.

Alternatively titled, Nurse Crawley Quilt.

100% inspired by the WWI British military nurse uniform depicted in Downton Abbey. Every time Lady Sybil/Nurse Crawley was on screen, I kept staring at her arm thinking, "that would make a lovely quilt." My thoughts were confirmed when I churned this quilt top out last winter, finally finishing a couple of weeks ago..  I am looking forward to the upcoming season on PBS, well worth a watch. Oh how I love PBS.

Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Love the quilt! And regarding waiting for Downton Abbey...don't wait...go to this link: http://www.yourtvseri.es/series/downton-abbey/ Click on the episode you want to watch, on the next screen click on "VK", on the next screen it may say you do not have what is required to watch but wait a few seconds and it should start the video. Gives you a bit of a headstart on Season 3. :)
