graphic library tote.

i started this last night not knowing what would become of the pieces. I slept on it and this was what happened this morning. cotton prints and linen-cotton blend body make this tote extra sweet. I like it! The second picture is extra fuzzy, sorry.

Happy Easter!

An Easter-like cake!

The obligatory amy karol clutch.

This is the clutch that everyone (fabric enthusiasts) has been making over the past year. This was the first project that i made from her book "Bend the Rules Sewing." It is a simple clutch, I have never used it it has been in a box of completed craft projects for forever and i thought i would share it. I used fabric from my stash in case i messed up, luckily i didn't because i used one of my favorite buttons.

crazy quilted coasters.

These little gems were made some time ago, they were actually my trial set of coasters made from scraps so that i didn't ruin any good fabric. The coasters are not quite my style but i like them anyway! It seemed appropriate to post these with their Easter colors.Have a good Easter!

covered button magnets.

I made these cuties some time ago. However, i felt the need to share them. I love how perfectly the magnet fits the button, a little hot glue and you're good to go. Once again i used vintage fabric for this project. It is a challenge to find prints that translate well in such small doses. I have a bunch of pushpins that i made the same way, someday when i clean up my bulletin board i will share those as well.

birdie pocket apron.

I made this apron in no time at all. It is made of white canvas featuring a chocolate brown linen pocket and a birdie cut from a vintage scrap. Again, my photography is lacking.

applique pillow love.

instead of drinking myself into a St. Patrick's day stupor, I cozied up on the couch and stitched this pillow applique. It is a combination of vintage fabric medallions affixed to white linen, then placed on a natural hemp pillow form. I am not sure how i feel about it yet. This endeavor was more about keeping my hands busy.

sleeping mask.

this is a sleeping mask that i made from a pattern from Amy Butler's "In Stitches" book.this was a super easy project and that is why i chose it. I was surprised by how comfortable it wears. all i need now is a sunny afternoon that i can strap it on and enjoy.
