there's a dog in my blog!

I made this little doggie quilt for a friend's pup. This is the cutest little doggie I know, he burrows into anything soft and burrowable. It appears to serve its purpose. Awwwww.... look at those paaaaaws.

patchy belts.

I love these patchwork belts, they are simple and you can use up your scraps to make them. The D-rings are inexpensive and make this project one worth trying. The three belts in the photograph above are a construction of new fabric and vintage buttons, whereas the lonely darling below is all vintage baby! I gifted a similar vintage patchwork belt to my sister for christmas, I hope she likes/wears it!

coaster crazy.

I confess, i went a little coaster crazy. They are so easy to do and make great little gifts, who wouldn't love to get a set of these cuties? Anyway, my photo skills leave much to be desired but i think you get the idea. Goodnight!

january craftiness...

This is a little birthday gift for a cutie that I work with. It is a tissue holder and a matching wallet, both made from cotton and linen. They are her favorite colors, i hope she likes them! The light caught the backside of the wallet just right and you can see the indentation from the snaps. I promise it is not so obvious to the naked eye. I think they are darling....
